If a valid GPS signal cannot be received, the SOS function may become only partially operational, prompting a warning message to appear on the dashboard.

This result indicated that the vehicle’s telematics control module had detected an open circuit in the GPS antenna signal path.

On its own, however, a fault code doesn’t tell you what caused the problem.
