Garage of the year: Finalist 2018
Martyn and Carol took over the business in 1999, making quite a few years running the Cheltenham and Gloucester Autocentre on Gloucester Road.
Martyn, who has always been in the Motor Trade, is now running this family-based local and independent Service, Repair and MOT Testing facility; just between the Airport junction and GCHQ, by the M5 Motorway bridge. Martyn’s wife and daughter work alongside him, assisting with Customer Service, Administration and Reception duties.
Over the last 15 years we’ve seen three generations of the same family bring their cars to us, anything from a blown fuse to a replacement engine! We always aim to provide a personal, approachable and straight talking garage, so it’s great to know it’s working as we see our customers return time and again.
Many people think they’re required to take their car back to the main dealer to keep their warranty valid, but this isn’t the case – and Martyn is keen to point out that he is confident he can provide a more convenient, competitive and friendly service locally.
We have fault-finding diagnostic equipment available, for any dashboard warning lights, enabling us to find out what’s at fault. We can offer a free collection and delivery service to the immediate area and we have a loan car if required.
We also offer an Express Exhausts, Tyres and Battery Service, and can supply and fit all of these items for our customers locally. There’s no need to go into Cheltenham or Gloucester for those items when you can come to Cheltenham and Gloucester Autocentre!
